2024: SUMMER IS HERE!
Attention! Summer does NOT begin 20 June 2024. It begins with the
first pitch of Major League Baseball, even with snow on the ground.
I actually attended my very first Opening Day at Wrigley Field on April 1, and indeed I felt like an April fool as it rained and was in the 40s. But it was fun for six innings!
Summer in Chicago also means it's festival season time. For me – a Lakeview resident – that usually means Sheffield-Belmont Fest over Memorial Day weekend. As for Remember Wrigley Field, check out my
